Why We Built This Site
Minnesota gives the public broad access to many court records, but Douglas County records are not all held by one office. Douglas County Court Administration handles District Court case files for civil, family, criminal, juvenile, probate, and traffic matters. The Sheriff's Office manages the jail roster, active warrants, accident and incident reports, background checks, and local law-enforcement records. The Douglas County Recorder handles marriage certificates and real estate recordings. Statewide tools such as MCRO, MOMS, the Minnesota DOC Public Viewer, and the BCA public criminal history search add more channels.

This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Minnesota court, Douglas County office, sheriff's office, recorder's office, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:

- We cannot issue certified copies of any court document or vital record
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
